Calgary Limousine Fleet
Livery Transport Services in the City of Calgary specified a limousine on their final draft livery transport bylaw that is dated on November 18 2005 as a motor vehicle including a stretch limousine, sedan limousine or specialized limousine which has valid L.P.L joined to it. Calgary hummer limousine is categorized as specialized limousine if only if a hummer limousine does not otherwise qualify as taxi, stretch limousine or a sedan limousine and require approval from the Manager of Calgary livery transport services. Owner of Calgary Hummer Limousine has to satisfy the Manager of livery transport services that:
- A Calgary Hummer limousine can be operated safely in Calgary service area
- A Calgary Hummer limousine provides comfort to passengers
- A Calgary Hummer limousine offers a unique experience or luxury to passengers
A livery vehicle registration certificate will be issued by the Manager thereafter as proof of approval for a specialized hummer limousine.

Edmonton Limousine Fleet
City of Edmonton bylaw 10670, limousine bylaw; (consolidated on December 6 2006), specified:
- Mega Stretched Limousine shall mean a limousine, extended over 6 feet beyond the standard length for that model vehicle, with a seating capacity of 7 or 8 passengers in the rear compartment.
- "Ultra Stretched Limousine" shall mean a limousine, extended over six (6) feet beyond the standard length for that model vehicle, with a seating capacity of more than eight (8) but not exceeding twelve (12) passengers in the rear compartment.
- "Super Stretched Limousine" shall mean a limousine, extended up to six (6) feet beyond the standard length for that model vehicle, with a seating capacity of not more than six (6) passengers in the rear compartment.
- "Sedan Limousine" shall mean a full sized four door vehicle being a manufacturers upper quality line, with a seating capacity of not more than three (3) passengers in the rear compartment.
